The Circle of Dionysos is proud to announce that in addition to our large public theatrical rituals, in 2010 we are offering a series of small classes in various topics of interest to our community. The first class we will be offering is “The Tarot as a Body of Lore,” an introductory class with a special focus on the play of Elements and Numerology within the Tarot and the ways in which the Tarot is not only a divination tool but also a book of shadows and spell crafting kit in one.

This class will meet for 10 weeks on Thursday nights starting at 7PM on January 14th in at a private residence in San Francisco (we will not have a class on February 11).  The class is offered on a “pay what you can” basis, and no one will be turned away for lack of funds.  Students in this class will be asked to buy/own a tarot deck in order to participate after the first class.
